Jeanette Corrigan - Owner

Born in nearby Belvidere, Illinois, Jeanette has worked in Sycamore for over 25 years. Together with husband Bob, the two have embarked on many local business ventures that have continually brought them closer to the community of Sycamore. With over 10 years of owning and operating Coral Reef Tanning, Jeanette has finally achieved her dream of expanding her business into a complete family day spa. With much dedication and vision the area will at last have an all-inclusive health and beauty resource that accommodates everyone’s wishes. All of the services at Paradise Found have been tailored to the needs of many clients and community members Jeanette has discussed her passion with. From an incredibly relaxing and therapeutic full day salon experience, a fabulous massage, or the exciting new kid’s paradise spa, Paradise Found has something for everyone!

Kristen Birtell - Customer Service

I'm from DeKalb, Illinois and am currently enrolled at NIU. I'm pursuing a career in Elementary Education and hope to teach young children after graduating. I am very active in my community and love to do volunteer work. Working at Paradise Found is great for me because I get to interact with so many people. Best of all, I get to work with young children in our great party room!

Amy Oviedo - Hair Stylist

Amy attended Hair Professionals Career College in DeKalb, Illinois and was raised and currently lives in DeKalb County. She has been a stylist for 18 years. She has 16 years of salon experience. She has 9 Redken Honors medallions for cutting, color, foiling, texturizing, styling, and product knowledge. She recently completed a class in Depileve Waxing - which we also use at Paradise Found. Upon completion of this class, Amy received her certificate for waxing. She invites all of her clients to visit her for their beauty needs!

Sue Kwidzinski - Nurse Esthetician

Sue has been a professional licensed registered nurse for 17 years. She has expanded her education further by acquiring licensure in Esthetics. She has been trained in BioElement products for the ultimate achievement of skin care. Sue provides many relaxation services including facials, back facials, salt glow, body polish scrub, mud body wraps, herbal detox treatments, and hot stone treatments. In addition, the following advanced services are provided: waxing, microdermabrasion, anti-aging facials, and acne treatments - as well as education regarding home skin care, skin analysis, and consultation. She is a very sociable person and loves what she does. She is devoted to bringing out the beauty in all of us!

Shreada "Nicole" Cooke - Hair Stylist

Nicole is a proud wife and mother of two boys. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to DeKalb in 1999 to raise her children and get her education. Nicole received her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from Kishwaukee Community College in 2000 and has been working at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore for 8 years. Nicole has been around hair stylists all her life and began experimenting with hair on her family and friends when she was 20. She's always been fascinated by the cutting, coloring, and most of all the end and finished result. Nicole decided to attend cosmetology school at Hair Professionals in Sycamore in 2006 and recently graduated in 2007. She says, "I've always known that hair was what I've wanted to do because I have a passion for it. I can't go anywhere without looking at women's hair." Her goal is to one day own her own salon.

Brandy Ackmann - Hair Stylist

Brandy was born in St. Charles, Illinois, but has lived in Sycamore for most of her life. She has been doing hair for 3 years. Brandy recently graduated from Cyndirella's Academy in St. Charles. She continues her education by taking classes when she is available. When it comes to hair - she loves everything about it - cutting, coloring, and styling. Brandy also enjoys waxing. She loves making her clients happy when they leave the spa.

Jennifer Staten - Hair Stylist

Jenn was born and raised in Antioch, Illinois. She decided to pursue her love for cosmetology when she was a junior in high school and graduated from CLC Tech Campus for Cosmotology in Grayslake, Illinois. Jenn has been doing hair for 3 1/2 years and moved to DeKalb in 2006 to further her education as a communications major at Northern Illnois University. Although being a full time student and full time stylist can be overwhelming, she says she could never give up her passion for cosmetology. She enjoys coloring the most, but loves everything about hair. Jenn hopes to further her knowledge by taking classes in the future. The biggest thing for her is making sure her client feels a little more self-confident and beautiful when leaving her chair.

Melissa Lorusso - Hair Stylist

I was born in Elmhurst but was raised in St Charles, Illinois. I went to Cyndirellas Academy of Style and Beauty. I have been working in my profession for 2 1/2 years. I love cutting and coloring and am very creative. Up-do's for a special occasion, or just going out for the night- come to Paradise Found for a great hair experience.
